Below are several types of end connections Bellowman be able to provide for your expansion joints applications.
-
Metal expansion joint-welded ends
It is the most common end connection which allow any pipe or duct to be attached to a bellow element for welding into a piping system. The material of the welded ends are commonly available in carbon steel, 304 and 316L stainless steel or alloys.
-
Metal expansion joint-fixed flanges
Commonly used when vanstone flanges are not an option. Including special flanges, slip-on flanges or angle flanges. They can be welded onto the straight portion of the bellow elements directly, and also can be welded onto the bellow element with welding ring. Special flanges can be customized made as per demands.

Metal expansion joint-vanstone flanges
A vanstone flange is fabricated by lapping the “ neck “ or tangent of a bellows over the flange face. This allows the flange to rotate prior to tightening the bolting. It adds more flexibility to the connection. It is an economical solution for piping systems with misaligned bolt holes. They are available in carbon steel, 304 and 316L stainless steel.
