In the piping systems, the Pipe Cross is a pipe fittings for pipe branches and be used in the place where four pipes meet together. The pipe cross may have one inlet and three outlets, or three inlets and one outlet. The diameter of the outlet and inlet can be the same and also can be different. That is to say, equal cross and reducing cross are both availabe. For equal cross, the end dimension of the branch pipe are the same with the main pipe; For reducing cross, the end dimension of the main pipe are the same, but the end dimension of the branch pipe are smaller than the main pipe. 

According to the production process, the pipe cross can be divided into pressing pipe cross and forged pipe cross. According to the manufacturing standards it can be divided into American standard, German standard, Japanese standard and the GB standard etc. If according to the pressure rating it can be divided into Sch5、Sch10、Sch20、Sch30; STD: Sch40、Sch60; XS: Sch80、Sch100、Sch120、Sch140、Sch160; XXS: Sch5s、Sch20s、Sch40s、Sch80s, 150mm maximum. STD and XS are in common use.
